August 24 – 28 is Spin Week at Wings of Eagles Smyrna!
The only pilot certificate in the U.S. that requires spin training is the initial CFI certificate. However, all pilots benefit from Spin Training and Advanced Stall Recovery training.

- Minimum requirements: Private Pilot License
- The details: Half-day class, with 1-2 hours of ground and 1-1.5 hour flight
- What you’ll learn: Hands-on experience regarding what causes a spin, what to expect from an aircraft in a spin, and how to get out of a spin
- When: August 24 – 28, 2026, when our spinning C-172 will be operating out of Smyrna for the week.
- What you’ll get: Your spin endorsement, which never expires!
