My Responsibilities
As a flight instructor, my responsibility is to create a safe and enjoyable environment where I can pass on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that a student will carry with them throughout their life as a pilot.

My Bio
I was born and raised in Alabama, but have lived in Smyrna most of my life. I graduated from Lipscomb University in 2009 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and worked as an engineer for about 10 years. Shortly after starting my first engineering job, I decided to take a discovery flight, and I knew from that first “Rotate” that this would be a lifelong passion. I quickly earned my private pilot certificate and instrument rating, and decided to enjoy aviation as a hobby rather than a career at that time. However, I continually felt that pull to fly full-time. So after nearly a decade, I decided to commit to aviation and finally make the career change, and the only thing I have regretted is not doing it sooner!

My Hobbies
Ice hockey, snowboarding, Alabama football, and the Nashville Predators.

My Favorite Thing About Wings
I love being surrounded by people who share my passion for aviation.

My Motto
Some things are good for the body, others are good for the soul!

My Message to You
Learning to fly is a lot of work and will require a sincere commitment. But, with dedication and an attitude towards continual learning and improvement, it will be one the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences of your life!
