Meet Our Flight Instructors

Ben Williams

CFI, CFII, MEI

My Responsibilities
As a flight instructor, my primary objective is to do everything I can to help my students achieve their aviation goals while prioritizing safety and having fun.

My Bio
I was born in Helena, Montana, and grew up in Colorado and Washington, D.C. I moved to Nashville in 2020 to pursue a degree in Audio Engineering Technology at Belmont University and a subsequent career working in recording studios. In 2023, I discovered aviation and caught the bug immediately. I graduated from college and started my training at Wings of Eagles, where I have achieved my ratings from PPL to CFII and MEI. My goal is to fly jets all around the world and explore every corner. In the meantime I have the honor of giving back to the incredible aviation community as an instructor.

My Hobbies
I love flying, and I take every opportunity to fly for fun. My biggest hobbies include working out, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and pretty much anything outdoors. I also love music, film, and traveling.

My Favorite Thing About Wings
Wings of Eagles does an amazing job at supporting how students want to achieve their goals. The Wings of Eagles team will always work with your timeline and be receptive to your individual needs. This community of passionate aviators and the culture at Wings of Eagles is unmatched. I feel confident that every instructor will go out of their way help any student with even the smallest queries. As a student, you will always be put first.

My Motto
Nothing worth it comes easy, but that’s why it’s worth it.

My Message to You
Learning how to fly is one of the most rewarding skills a person can learn. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being up in the air on your own, perhaps on the way to explore a cool place you’ve never been to, while being in complete control of the aircraft, knowing you possess the skills and knowledge to be self-sufficient. Put in the work and commit yourself to the task at hand, and you will have no regrets.
