My Bio
In 1988, Bryan E. Lewis moved from Eastern Kentucky to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry in which he worked as a songwriter, road musician, and sound engineer for 12 years. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Army. A portion of his service was spent as a member of the 3rd US Infantry Old Guard in Washington D.C. where he served in the White House, Pentagon, and Arlington Cemetery.

Bryan has a BA in Biblical Studies, a MA in Ancient Mediterranean Religions, a MTS in Theology, and a PhD in Religious Studies. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Religion and Christian Studies at Bethel University, as a Professor of Classical Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek in the Foreign Language & Literature Department at Middle Tennessee State University, an Adjunct Professor in Ancient Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University, and currently, as an Adjunct Professor (online) for the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Bryan began his flying career in 2009, here in MQY. “I’m in love with the air!” Bryan says, “my unquenchable appetite for aviation, combined with my teaching background in academia, makes it easy for me to help others realize their dream of becoming a pilot. Hence, my current position as a CFI at Wings of Eagles Aviation is a natural fit.”

Bryan’s spare time is spent with his wife, Holly, three children, and five grandchildren on their small farm in southern Middle Tennessee.

My Hobbies
I play guitar and enjoy recording music in my home recording studio.
