Register for winter 2026 ground school

Registration is now open for our winter 2026 group ground school classes, hosted at Wings of Eagles Smyrna (MQY) by CFI/CFII Evan Schaeffer. We’re offering Private Pilot Ground School (beginning February 24) and Accelerated Instrument Ground School (beginning March 12). Learn more and register here!

You don’t need to be a current Wings of Eagles student to take advantage of these classes! Group ground sessions are a great way to save money on ground training, prepare for flight training or an upcoming checkride, or as a refresher. All are welcome!

How do I know if group ground school is right for me?

For many students, in-person ground school is the best resource for checkride prep while saving on ground school costs.

Save $$ on ground: Our group ground lessons are half the price of one-on-one lessons.
Any gaps in your training? One of the biggest concerns is whether or not you’ve missed some important knowledge. Our group sessions ensure you’re not missing anything.
The many advantages of group study: Studies show that group learning leads to better study habits, better understanding of the material, and better retention.
